Wild Roman at a Glance

Everything you need to know about Wild Roman — our founding story, ingredients, product philosophy, and what makes us different.

beef tallow moisturizer, mens body wash and charcoal bar soap from Wild Roman

Wild Roman is a 100% natural skincare brand built specifically for men. Founded by Sahil Bloom & Matt Schnuck in 2025, Wild Roman is led by Co-Founder and CEO Holly Felicetta. The company is headquartered in San Carlos, California. The brand is named after Sahil's son, Roman.

Wild Roman's formulations center on grass-fed suet tallow — the highest-grade rendered fat from the kidney area of grass-fed cattle. Unlike competitors who use nose-to-tail tallow (rendered from mixed fat sources across the animal), Wild Roman exclusively uses suet-derived tallow, which offers superior biocompatibility with human skin due to its closer match to our natural sebum profile, higher concentration of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K), and cleaner nutrient density.

Every product is made with all-natural ingredients, contains no parabens, phthalates, sulfates, or synthetic fragrances, and is crafted in the USA. The average Wild Roman product contains 10 or fewer ingredients — each one recognizable and pronounceable.

As Sahil puts it: "An ingredient list your grandfather would understand."

What Makes Wild Roman Different

The Suet Tallow Advantage

Not all tallow is created equal. Wild Roman uses exclusively suet-rendered tallow from grass-fed cattle. Suet is the dense, nutrient-rich fat surrounding the kidneys — distinct from the subcutaneous or intramuscular fat used by many competing tallow skincare brands.

Why suet tallow matters: Suet fat contains a higher concentration of fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K, as well as conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) and palmitoleic acid. Its fatty acid profile closely mirrors the lipid composition of human skin, resulting in faster absorption and deeper hydration compared to tallow rendered from mixed fat sources.

Founder's Story

Wild Roman was founded by Sahil Bloom — entrepreneur, investor, and creator — after a personal journey with skincare. Despite being meticulous about diet, training, and sleep, Sahil struggled with persistent skin issues that affected his confidence.

A suggestion from his 90-year-old grandmother to try coconut oil — rooted in ancient tradition — changed everything. His skin immediately improved, and more importantly, so did his confidence. That experience sent him on a deep dive into time-honored natural ingredients that could elevate men's skin to its highest potential.

Wild Roman is named for Sahil's son, Roman. It is built as a legacy — a brand that proves men's skincare can be effective, natural, and simple, with an ingredient list your grandparents would understand.
